Edward Floyd Eubanks
Ed Eubanks died on May 31 at his home in Santa Barbara, CA. He said that the 30 years he lived there were the best in his life. He was a successful newspaper reporter, public relations executive, and entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Pasadena. He graduated from Dartmouth College after a tour in the Pacific with the U.S Navy during World War II. He married Suzanne Cristy, the love of his life, in 1946, and they had three children, Ellen, Laura, and David.
Ed and Suzanne moved to Santa Barbara in 1992. Together they traveled the world, and they enjoyed collecting art and parties and the Santa Barbara symphony. Ed’s passion in retirement was painting and creating lithographs. He was preceeded in death by Suzanne and their daughter Laura. He is survived by his children, Ellen and David, and David’s wife Zubeda.
