Guido Paul Sigismondi

Guido Sigismondi, age 87 of Santa Barbara, Ca., passed away at his home on August 29, 2024. Guido was born on January 25, 1937 in Fara Filiorum Petri in Abruzzo, Italy. After receiving his degree from San Bernardino in Aquila, Italy, he emigrated to the United States where he met his dear late wife, Antoinette (Toni), in Binghamton, NY. He served in the US Army, eventually stationing himself in Fort Ord, Ca. to be close to Toni who resided in Santa Barbara. He became a US citizen and eventually married Toni at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Santa Barbara, Ca. He and Toni built a rich life together in Santa Barbara, raising three sons and each pursuing careers. Guido was a well-known tailor in Santa Barbara and pursued his trade with passion and attention to detail. He loved his life in Santa Barbara, his family, his home, and his friends. He is survived by his three sons, Paul, Victor and Dante and his granddaughter, Francesca, in addition to many others in his beloved extended family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
