Mike Burton

A year ago, Thanksgiving, Mike Burton passed to the other side. He left his daughters, his partner, and his friends. We will miss his love, his humor, and his set shot plus tenacious defense. He graduated from San Marcos High School and was already part of a neighborhood pick-up basketball game. He was one of the pillars of the game for 50 years. He was most proud of his ability to hit the open man with a pin point no look pass and had no patience for anyone who wasn’t ready. He played until just a few months before he died. Well played.
