John William Burrows
1934 – 2012
John William Burrows, pianist, composer and friend, leaves behind his ex-wife Clare, daughters Kathleen and Kelly and adopted family; Kevin, Mary Brian Nadia and Joseph, with music from his heart.
From Julliard in the East, to the Music Academy of the West, John became one of only three ever honored with the Plaque of Appreciation, presented by its President, Scott Reed.
The précis of John’s life lies in his quotes. “God’s gift to the composer is the magic of melody and to the performer goes the passion.” ~ “You can run out all else, but you don’t want to run out of friends.” He didn’t. You will be deeply missed John, rest in peace.
