Danielle Marie Harmer

Danielle Marie Harmer died suddenly on Monday November 12, 2012 of natural causes in Placerville, California, just a few weeks short of her 60th birthday.

Dani grew up in Santa Barbara and was proud of her family and its place in Santa Barbara history. She attended Montecito Union local schools and graduated from UCSB with a degree in anthropology. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, a big sweet gentle heart full of compassion and empathy. She laughed and loved and traveled on her own terms.

Her family and her many good friends will miss her and her wonderful spirit. She is survived by her mother Andreé Harmer, sister Michele Plumridge, her brothers Peter and Kipp Harmer, and nephew Alexander Harmer, and her best friend Fred Moret. She was preceded in death by her father Don Harmer.
