Santa Barbara’s Frolicking Fourth of July 

The excessive heat warnings never quite materialized into much more than overcast skies, but that didn’t stop Santa Barbara from flocking to the Fourth of July festivities this year. Our intrepid photographer Ingrid Bostrom turned her trusty lens to the many faces of this year’s Independence Day festivities, where thousands of locals and visitors gathered to celebrate the summery vibes and enjoy a day full of family-friendly activities, including live music on the West Beach bandstand, as well as traditional Fourth of July fare served along Cabrillo Boulevard’s sidewalk.
