The Montecito Association’s Annual Holiday Magic Car Parade rolled through town on Saturday with lots of lights and holiday cheer in tow. The fourth annual festivities also included a special Sip & Shop event for the whole family with hot cocoa and cookies supplied by the Rosewood Miramar and music by Mailand Ward. Vintage cars, a restored 1937 fire truck with firefighters and the search and rescue team on hand, as well as students from local elementary schools Cold Springs and Montecito Union paraded by as people cheered them on in a loop that started in the upper village and processed through the lower village and back up through Montecito.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Montecito Association with a special theme for the holiday season, “Montecito Shining Bright,” which celebrates the community’s spirit, resilience, and commitment to keeping its traditions alive.
