Carpinteria Surf ’n’ Suds Beer Fest

The ninth annual Surf ‘n’ Suds Beer Festival, presented by Drinklife and hosted by En Fuego Events, took place right next to the beach in downtown Carpinteria on Saturday, August 12. Billed as the largest craft beer festival on the Central Coast, with more than 75 craft breweries, ciders, seltzers, kombucha, and wineries on-site, the event also featured live entertainment by Carpinteria’s own Cornerstone Reggae and The Moondawgs. A benefit for the Young and Brave Foundation, also on tap were a great variety of food trucks and street faire vendors, lawn games — including mega-sized beer pong — and plenty of places to sit in the shade!
