If you heard a cackle in the air on Sunday near the ocean, it wasn’t your imagination. A coven of paddle boarding witches and a few warlocks cruised around the harbor this weekend at the annual Santa Barbara Witches Paddle.
This unique event brings together magic and mystery, witches and warlocks, all united by the love of paddling — or perhaps Halloween.
Organized by Paddle Sports Center this year, the fourth annual gathering of creatively costumed coven members took place on October 29.
