The creative, vibrant heartbeat of Santa Barbara’s art community was up on the walls and ready to find homes in local abodes at the Community Arts Workshop’s (CAW) annual group show this weekend. A favorite annual benefit for Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative (the group that operates the CAW), this event is also a great representation of the spirit of the Community Arts Workshop as a space for everyone to create and share — plus it supports local artists and is a fundraiser for the nonprofit.
The 2024 theme was “Connectivity,” and 350 regional artists answered the call to connect — each created a 12″ x 12″ work to hang. Artists set their own prices, which ranged from about $75 to in the thousands, and a small part of each sale went to support CAW.
