The Walter H. Capps Center at UCSB is proud to present “Election 2024 and Religion,” with Anthea Butler (Penn), Julie Ingersoll (UNF), and Joseph Blankholm (UCSB).
The 2024 Election will decide the future of American democracy and reflects competing visions of American values and governance. Debates over abortion, immigration, the economy, the environment, guns, foreign policy, and more are shaped by changes in American society, including increasing secularization, growing religious diversity, and the resurgence of Christian nationalism. What will these changes mean for the 2024 election and America’s political future? Join us for this online roundtable discussion featuring three experts on American religion and politics.
