Montecito Fire Chief Kevin Taylor, Wildlands Fire Specialist Nic Elmquist , Professor Leila Carvalho, and Retired Santa Barbara Fire Chief Pat McElroy will discuss the significant impact climate change is having on wildfires in California.
The speakers will spotlight specific challenges climate change presents to wildfire resiliency on the Santa Barbara South Coast through a facilitated discussion of the natural landscape, fire behavior,
meteorology, South Coast Fire History, and personal observations from the front lines.
