Are you a business owner or entrepreneur? The Library offers two digital database resources that are an excellent tools in helping you craft a business plan, design a marketing plan, and more. In this introductory class, learn how to use Size Up and Reference USA.
SizeUp is a business resource tool that provides data-driven insights to help small businesses and entrepreneurs. With SizeUp, local businesses can now see how they stack up to similar businesses in their industry, they can check benchmark performances, assess competition, learn about target areas for their next advertising campaign and tailored demographic analysis.
ReferenceUSA is the premier source of business and residential information for reference and research. Use Reference USA to obtain a targeted list of potential clients which you can use for marketing purposes on a national level. In this introduction, we’ll look into two specific features of this tools in the business and consumer snapshots and how to use the Consumer / Lifestyle database for market research, and to understand the buying habits of groups of consumers.
