VINTAGE HITCHCOCK: A LIVE RADIO PLAY

Spies, murder, love, and other trademarks of Alfred Hitchcock

Experience the thrilling world of Alfred Hitchcock in Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play as you journey back to the enchanting era of the 1940s. This timeless adaptation by Joe Landry brings three of Hitchcock’s most renowned stories to the stage: The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927), Sabotage (1936), and The 39 Steps (1935). Immerse yourself in the suspenseful narratives, reimagined in a 1940s radio broadcast setting and brought to life through live sound effects. Enjoy the nostalgia of vintage commercials, and be captivated by the performances.

The talented Alcazar Ensemble, directed by Åsa Olsson, Lynne Herrell, and Leslie Vitanza AnneRenee, will bring these classic stories to life. Eight performers will create lifelike sound effects and transition into dozens of characters before the audience’s eyes without ever leaving the stage. The show features performers Ross Brown, Rene Hooper, Claudia Kashin, Åsa Olsson, Philip Moreno, Van Riker, Lynn Robinson, and Howard Rudnick.
