Join us for a conversation about managing our landscape of risk featuring a panel of experts: Patrick McElroy, Executive Director, Partnership for Resilient Communities; Derek Booth, Senior Geologist, Stillwater Sciences and Adjunct Professor at UC Santa Barbara, and a representative from the National Weather. Panelists will discuss strategies to reduce the risk of debris flows associated with heavy rains, fire, and flood; approaches to forecasting; and strengths and challenges associated with communicating risk.
