Dan is the Executive Director of Wilderness Youth Project, a naturalist and birder. He will be sharing about three different bear encounters; how we might begin to relate to bears; and a trick for remembering how many toes appear in the track of a bear.
Obscure Frontside Trails to the Santa Ynez Mountain Ridgeline with Dave Montague
Dave is an avid hiker and mountain biker who’s explored more than 20 different trails and roads that lead to the top of the Santa Ynez Mountains. He will be sharing about several of the lesser known routes to reach the top and how to find them.

Running Santa Barbara’s 9 Trails 35 Mile Endurance Run with Nancy Kaplan
Nancy is a trail hiker, trail runner, outdoor enthusiast, and race organizer. She will be sharing about running Santa Barbara’s 9 Trails 35 Mile Endurance Run, how it got started, what the course is, and her experiences running Santa Barbara’s mountain trails.
Slot Canyons of the Southwest with Adam Donald
Adam is an avid hiker, camper, and backpacker who loves exploring the western US. He is a volunteer with the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, Los Padres Forest Association, and the Santa Barbara Trails Council, and will be sharing a casual photographic tour of his favorite slot canyon hikes in southern Utah with a few cameos from California and Nevada.
