The Recycled Show 2025: A No Waste Art Exhibit returns to the Community Arts Workshop, in fond memory of original exhibit organizer & curator Jami Joelle Nielsen. Participating artists will address environmental issues with artwork made from materials typically destined for the landfill.
Artists include: Wendy Brewer, Adrienne De Guevara, Kimberly Hahn, John Khus, Kathy Leader, Karen Lee, Michael Long, Heidi Parker, Mary Price, Irene Ramirez, Dug Uyesaka and Sue Van Horsen and Pamela Zwehl-Burke.
The artists’ reception is Friday, March 29, from 5-8 pm and will also offer interactive experiences: community creation of a “No Waste Mandala”; Typewritten Poetry; and ecologically themed craft activities with Art from Scrap & Ecostiks. Light snacks and beverages provided.
Gallery Hours are Saturday the 29th & Sunday the 30th from 12-4pm; and by appointment March 31st to April 2nd.
Artwork will be available for purchase, with a portion of sales supporting the CAW.
