Wild Talks is a lecture series hosted by Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network that explores our wild world through the eyes of experts in different wildlife fields. On July 31st, join us for an exciting lecture: The Life and Legacy of P-22. This lecture will feature renowned environmental leader, and Regional Executive Director of the California Regional Center of the National Wildlife Federation, Beth Pratt.

The Life and Legacy of P-22

P-22, an iconic wild animal, changed the world and ensured a future for mountain lions in the Santa Monica Mountains. His inspiration led to the construction of the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing, a visionary project that will connect a crucial wildlife corridor, preserve biodiversity, and save a local population of mountain lions from extinction. This groundbreaking crossing will be the world’s largest, the first of its kind in California, and a global model for urban wildlife conservation. Join Beth Pratt, the leader of the #SaveLACougars campaign, and learn about P-22’s remarkable story and the dedicated efforts that made the landmark crossing a reality.

**All proceeds from this event directly benefit Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network’s work to rescue, rehabilitate and release local wildlife. **
