After entering the Santa Barbara market late last year, Jackpocket, the leading third-party app in the U.S. to provide a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, is working to evolve the local tech scene. With other partners, Jackpocket and its CEO, Pete Sullivan, has just launched Silicon Riviera.
Building on the region’s rich entrepreneurial history, this new organization is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and growing the Central Coast’s technology and innovation ecosystem by linking local startups to capital funding sources, connecting mentors to budding entrepreneurs, and launching philanthropic initiatives to join tech companies and local nonprofits.
