Tai Chi is an ancient form of exercise that leads the student on a journey of self-discovery and awareness of body and mind to gain energy, promote inner peace and improve circulation and flexibility of the body. Results of medical studies have shown the benefits of Tai Ji are excellent for stress reduction, balance, pain management, blood pressure control, and boosting your immune system.
Come and learn a new way of thinking and moving that adds freedom and enjoyment to your life style.
Alejandra has practiced Tai Chi for over 25 years and been part of the Santa Barbara Wu Hao group for 12. She competed in Lighting Tai Chi in 2016 and 2018, with her group winning first in several categories. In 2023, her group participated in the Tai Chi Chuan World Cup in Taiwan, where Alejandra earned 3rd and 5th places individually. She has been teaching Tai Chi since 2016.

The emphasis of the cycle is in cultivating our internal energy and directing our intention. We will go over the principles of Tai Chi, energy exercises (Qi Gong) and the 49-form.
This class will set up you up for a life journey. You decide how far you want to go.
