The Mayan day sign that governs the next three months has the modern name of Wisdom. The ancient name is Vulture. This day sign brings cleansing and purification which is greatly needed right now.
The ceremony opens with smudging, drumming, and songs. Next, the Mayan fire vessel is ignited and then we offer our prayers for ourselves, others, and the world as we each add a piece of Copal to the fire.
Let us come together to declare our intentions to burn away the trauma, fear, and suffering that has engulfed our planet.
