“The Dowry of Princess Talia” by Greg Lam is a delightful play filled with vibrant characters, including a gentle giant with a big heart, a quirky dragon who brings playful chaos, and a sorrowful witch whose sadness adds depth to the story. Each character contributes uniquely, creating entertaining scenes that captivate the audience.
The main character is a clumsy suitor who faces numerous humorous challenges. The clever and resourceful princess assists him from behind the scenes with her quick thinking. This twist on traditional roles provides a refreshing perspective. The magical world of Princess Talia will inspire both children and adults, inviting everyone into an exciting adventure filled with friendship, bravery, and heart.
The short play is co-directed by Asa Olsson and Leslie Vitanza AnnRenee, featuring local actors from Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties as part of the ensemble cast.
