Our outstanding panelists will discuss their experiences and “lessons learned” from the process of developing their organization’s innovative products and services. They will address the following and there will be time for questions:
• The definition of “innovation” and the importance of fostering a culture that inspires creativity in a workplace.
• The characteristics of an innovative workplace culture.
• How is innovation important to the nonprofit sector?
• Innovation as a learned process from soliciting, evaluating new and overseeing the implementation of ideas.
• The decision-making process in terms of evaluating which innovations are worthy of further investment.
• How to identify employees who have the potential and “true grit” to be innovators.
• How to hold Innovative Teams accountable for evaluating progress, making mid-course corrections, or even pulling the plug!
