UC Santa Barbara’s Marine Science Institute is hosting an upcoming free event, UCSB Shark Night, for members of the local community. This event will be an exciting night touring the science of sharks in California and beyond, featuring ongoing UCSB research on sharks, including local community programs such as SharkEye, one of the programs monitoring great white shark aggregations in Santa Barbara. The evening will also include an interactive experience meeting sharks at UCSB’s teaching aquarium, the REEF.
