The Santa Ynez Valley Concert Series will present its final performance of the 2023-24 season, 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 at St Mark’s-in-the-Valley Church, 2901 Nojoqui Ave., Los Olivos.
The concert will feature Roger Roe, the principal English horn of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and distinguished pianist R. Kent Cook.
“I think this might be the first ever English horn/oboe and piano recital given in Los Olivos,” said Robert Cassidy, artistic director. “Don’t miss this opportunity to hear these world-class artists perform this worthy repertoire.”
Hidden Journeys will consist of works composed by Pierre Max Dubois, Zachary Wadsworth, Samuel Barber, Ulysses Kay, and Pavel Haas.
For tickets, visit ejoinme.org. Students always attend for free.
St. Mark’s offers the SYV Concert Series as a community arts enrichment program. All are invited to attend the non-sectarian, non-religious concerts.
