The Sarada Convent of the Vedanta Society of Southern California is Celebrating its 75th year!
On October 15th, the Vedanta Society’s Sarada Convent in Santa Barbara will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee—75 years of unbroken worship and service.
In 1947, the Sarada Convent was established on 45 acres on Ladera Lane, surrounded by the Santa Ynez mountains. Nine years later, the celebrated Vedanta Temple was designed and built by the acclaimed architect Lutah Riggs.
