In a city where 60% of residents are renters, how do the candidates for Santa Barbara Mayor plan to respond to the housing crisis?
Save the date to join CAUSE Action Fund, the Santa Barbara Tenants Union, and other community partners for the Santa Barbara Tenants Forum for mayoral candidates this Wednesday, September 8th starting at 6:00 pm.
Our community has responded to ecological disasters like fires and mudslides, a global pandemic, all while dealing with a growing housing crisis. As statewide eviction protections are slated to end, how do the mayoral candidates plan to make sure we protect our renter community from being displaced?
