Opposing Manifestations of Anti-Blackness Lecture/MCC Theater
Rev. Dr. Jamie Washington serves as the president and founder of the Washington Consulting Group, a multicultural organizational development firm. He has served as an educator, administrator, and consultant in higher education for over 30 years, and is the president and founder of the Social Justice Training Institute. He also serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Religion and Social Ethics at Winston Salem State University.
His workshops will provide the tools to handle and work through difficult situations while navigating the university. His lecture will take us into a deeper understanding of race, specifically how to combat structural and individual incidents of anti-blackness.
