Quire of Voyces SACRED HEART May 20 & 21, 2023

 Please join the Quire of Voyces for their Spring Choral Concerts, entitled “Sacred Heart”, with a theme of Sacred Love on Saturday and Sunday, May 20th and 21st at 3 pm on both days at St. Anthony’s Chapel, 2300 Garden Street.  Tickets are available in advance at Chaucer’s Bookstore until May 19th at 12 pm and at the Garvin Theater Box Office on SBCC’s West Campus, 805-965-5935, $20 for General Admission and $15 for Seniors and Students.

The Spring concerts will include beloved choral works by Durufle, Willan, Sviridov, Rheinberger, Esenvalds, McGlade, Stopford, and Daniel Brinsmead, all centered on a theme of Sacred Love.  Also, two new works composed by our Composer-in-Residence Steve Dombek will be premiered at the concerts.  One additional special feature will be a performance of an Icelandic Hymn, entitled Heyr, himna smidur, sung in the Icelandic language.

Spring is a time of renewal, and the Quire invites you to join them and
savor a variety of beautiful harmonies on May 20th and 21st.  Both performances will be sung straight through, with no intermission.
