Join Flying Goat Cellars for “Pinot & Polo” at La Herradura Polo Club on Sunday, August 18, from 9:30am-noon. For the grand finale of Wine & Fire Weekend, all are welcome to experience Club Chukkers with Pinot & Bubbles poured field side (for adults 21+) by winemaker Norm Yost under the shade of tents. Let Norm and Kate introduce you to the “sport of kings” at the private club of the revered polo player Memo Gracida. Watch a fast-paced polo match, get inspired to pick up a foot mallet and practice your hand-eye coordination or perhaps even take a polo lesson with the pro himself! Flying Goat is a family-owned luxury brand dedicated to producing age-worthy pinot and sparkling wine from Santa Barbara County. Winemaker Norm Yost is uniquely known for launching the county’s first tradi`onal méthode champenoise sparkling wine program in 2005. La Herradura Polo Club boasts top-notch polo facilities and offers polo club services year-round. Players and guests have access to first class polo facilities, including three manicured polo fields, a full size arena, stabling and pastures for over 300 horses. Spectators are welcome at the polo matches and tailgating is encouraged.
