Petrella, First Lady of Country Soul

Petrella, and her band Mixed Influence will be appearing at Pali Wines, 116 E. Yanonail St., Santa Barbara on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Known as the First Lady of Country Soul debuted in 1992 with the single ‘Blues Stay Away From Me’, which peaked at No.86 on the Cashbox Top 100 Country Singles Chart and served as the lead-off single to her self- titled debut album, which also produced the No. 53 hit I Found Somebody in 1993 also on the Cashbox Country Music Chart. The same year she was featured on the Cover of Cashbox Magazine. Following her record deal with Warner Brothers/TMG her single Im Going to Love You Forever charted at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot Single Sales Chart. Petrella is listed in Essence Magazine as one of the 18 Black Country Singers You Need to Know.
