Just back from a wildly successful European tour, Peter will be in town to support a new EP entitled Twilight Time – just a few weeks after big brother Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminal’s recent show at the Arlington Theater.

The new EP Twilight Time is Peter’s first release featuring a full band, dubbed The Last 3, and is available at PeterHarper.net. Joining Peter onstage are Ethan “Pops” Chiampas (upright bass), David Leech (percussion), and Mike Meeker (lead guitar) – AKA “The Last 3” with a special guest appearance by Santa Barbara native and Indy staffer, Tanya Spears Guiliacci. The release contains five new songs in his signature soul-drenched American folk/soul/blues style as well as new collaborations. Having grown up the youngest of the three Harper brothers in Claremont’s famous Folk Music Center among guitars, ukuleles, and other instruments from around the world, these varied influences can be found throughout Peter’s music. His vocal style ranges from deep and gravelly to soft and silky smooth. In addition to the tours and the new EP, Peter has also been keeping busy with a performance at the venerable South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival, sponsorships with LAG Guitars and HyVibe pick up electronics (European instrument manufacturers), AND has been in the studio recording songs for an exciting new album slated for release this spring – look for it coming in May 2020.
