People’s March Santa Barbara: A Bold Demonstration of Community and Resistance

Santa Barbara, CA — January 18, 2025 — The People’s March Santa Barbara invites the community to join in a powerful demonstration of resilience, unity, and resistance. The event will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from noon to 3:00 PM PST at De La Guerra Plaza, located at 8 East De La Guerra Street, Santa Barbara, CA, 93101.

The People’s March is a dynamic movement designed to inspire, energize, and unite communities while reminding public officials of their accountability to the people they serve. This year’s theme, “Where the Power Truly Lives: With the People,” calls on Americans to make their voices heard in solidarity and strength.

Participants will gather to:

● Celebrate community resilience and resistance.

● Inspire civic action and unity.

● Remind civil servants that their responsibility is to the people.

“This march is our opportunity to remind Washington elites—and Americans everywhere—of the power and importance of collective action,” said [Event Organizer/Spokesperson Name]. “Together, we can shape a future that reflects the needs and hopes of all people.”

The event is co-hosted by Women’s March Santa Barbara and Indivisible Santa Barbara, organizations dedicated to fostering equity, justice, and civic engagement.
