Open Mic Night & Art Gallery

Take the stage and share your voice! All are invited to Santa Barbara Public Library’s Open Mic & Art Gallery! Transformative forces from the threshold of the upcoming new year have communicated to us that our theme is Metamorfosis.

All forms of expression are welcome, including spoken word, music, poetry, comedy, and dance. Unravel and commune with the perspectives of our community with a flick of the palette, gusts from the trachea, reverberations of a guitar string.

Visual artists! You are invited to add to the community’s soundscape in Santa Barbara Public Library’s Metamorfosis Art Gallery where potent acrylics and timed shutters will stitch together the atmosphere that the stage will resound in.

Call for performances and art are open now. You can register online or at the event! Performances should be no longer than three minutes in length.
