How toddlers through adolescents use food to communicate needs and the ways parents can react and intervene in healthy, productive, and validating ways.
Have you spent too much time trying to short-order cook for kids to avoid mealtime meltdowns? Are you concerned that your child is developing disordered or picky eating behaviors? Would you like to have a healthier, more attuned relationship with your child through feeding? Learn how to navigate all this and more during Talking With Their Mouths Full, a 1-hour workshop designed to provide relevant, applicable information to address feeding struggles in the home and other childcare environments.
A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for 13 years, Amy Isabella Chalker developed Talking With Their Mouths Full as a live workshop back in 2008. Since that time, she has presented dozens of times to parents and caregivers of children of all ages, from infancy through adulthood, and has presented a more in-depth 5-part webinar series on the topic with Krista Tarantino, RN, IBCLC. Amy is currently in private practice in Santa Barbara, specializing in nutrition therapy for clinical eating disorders, disordered eating behaviors, and child and family feeding.
