The next meeting of the Santa Barbara Rose Society is on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 7 – 9 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 909 N La Cumbre Road at Foothill in Santa Barbara.
Margaret Joan Lloyd of Margaret Joan Florals of Montecito will present New Trends in using Garden Roses for Weddings and Events.
Margaret Joan Lloyd is a licensed Certified California Florist with over twenty years of professional experience. “Nothing makes me happier than creating beautiful floral arrangements for a gorgeous Santa Barbara wedding or intimate event,” she says. Margaret is a member of Santa Barbara’s Las Floralias floral design club and has studied both Western Style Floral Design and Ikebana. She started her own wedding and event floral design business, Margaret Joan Florals, in 2014. She is a member of Slow Flowers and Chapel Designers, and as of this year, a member of The Santa Barbara Rose Society.
Santa Barbara Rose Society meetings are FREE. We invite everyone to come at 7 pm to socialize and sample our refreshments before the 7:15 Little Rose Show and 7:30 pm speaker presentation. Our motto is “Come for the Roses; Stay for the Friends.”
Guests are welcome! If you grow roses, please bring your cut roses to show off and any rose plants you would like to share. We also welcome goodies for our refreshments table and items for our fun raffle.
