Modern Stained Glass Ornaments Workshop

Celebrate the holidays by making Modern Stained Glass Ornaments with Art From Scrap! Chelsea of Brewer & Marr Glassworks will be your guide through the mindful practice of the copper foil stained glass method. At the end of the evening, you’ll walk away empowered with knowledge and appreciation of the stained glass craft and your own beautiful ornaments.

The workshop will be equipped with:

• Three Modern Ornament Designs- choose two out of the three to make a set!
• Colorful glass
• Copper foil & burnishing tools
• All supplies required for assembly
• Choice of finish: Silver, Copper, or Black Patina

Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Making stained glass ornaments is a lot of fun and can be dangerous at times. We will be handling sharp objects, HOT irons to liquefy solder containing different alloy metals, as well as various chemicals. Splatter happens! For your protection aprons, oven mitts, latex gloves, respirators, goggles, & first aid kit will be provided. Due to the nature of the craft, expecting mothers are advised to participate at their own risk.

This workshop is best suited for humans 18 and up.
