As part of the Corwin Chair Series, João Pedro Oliveira (Corwin Chair of Composition, UC Santa Barbara) will present a lecture titled “Models of Composition in the 21st Century” on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 3 pm in Studio Xenakis (Room 2215, Music Building). Oliveira will talk about his music and how he uses models derived from the historical past and other arts. Admission is free and open to the public!
