Reset and recharge with an evening among the oaks. Spending time around trees and looking at trees reduces stress, lowers blood pressure and improves mood. Taking time for self-care is essential for your well-being, which affects the way you show up with others. Expect a guided nature immersion, tea and light snacks, and community connection.
- Certified nature and forest therapy guide Tamara Murray of Nature Connection Santa Barbara will offer thoughtfully crafted invitations to connect with nature.
- The trees, boulders, and setting sun peeking between the leaves is the perfect setting for this mindful-yet-playful experience.
- Nature connection experiences are inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, which translates to “forest bathing” and is linked with health and well-being. (No actual bathing involved!)
Meeting place in the San Roque area will be shared upon registration. This experience is intended for adults; no outdoor experience needed. Hope you can join us!
