Solvang Library invites the public to meet local author Arvind Ethan David and to celebrate the launch of the second volume of his adult graphic novel Gray Thursday February 15 at Story of Soil Wines in Los Olivos, 2928 San Marcos Avenue.
Doors open at 5 pm, and the program, featuring an author talk, a live reading with local theater students, and signing will begin at 5:30 pm. Admission is free to the public, with donations to the Friends of the Library of Santa Ynez Valley gratefully accepted.
Arvind Ethan David is a writer and producer whose work includes the Tony & Grammy winning musical Jagged Little Pill and television shows including Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and the forthcoming Anansi Boys.
“Since I was a teenager I’ve been obsessed with Oscar Wilde and his gothic horror Dorian Gray. It’s been a wonderful joy to bring my version of Dorian into the world as both graphic novels and an Audible Original drama — and I’m excited to share a piece of both with my adopted home of the SY Valley.”
