Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Congregation

The Mythic Seminar Series, presented by Reverend Jonathan Young, a Jungian psychologist and minister of the Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Congregation, offers an exploration of familiar stories as tools for transformation.

On Sunday January 19, participants are invited to view the familiar “beware of strangers” fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood, as a rich mythic narrative, one which illustrates how encounters with deception, fear, or even failure—can catalyze growth and offer the potential for empowerment and self-discovery.

During the Mythic Seminar Series, participants are invited by poet and writing therapist, Anne Bach, to reflect on their own experience with a short writing practice. All are welcome to attend, free of charge.  No need to preregister.
