Join us for a fun Scrabble Challenge and support programs at the Santa Barbara Library. Each player will participate in two 50-minute games with different opponents. The First Place Award for the highest combined score will be $100 and the Second Place Award, for the next highest score, will be $50. The third- place award, for the highest scoring word will be $35. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow scrabble lovers as well as refreshments, wine and other beverages. There will also be a gently used book sale at the event. If you would like to bring a child or grandchild to “assist” you, there is no charge for them. Additionally, if you are an adult learner tutor at the library, you can bring your learner to work with you, for no extra charge.
