Morning Session: Knitty Gritty: Understanding the Basics of Knits
In this session, we’ll explore the world of knits, from their unique properties to the different types of knit fabrics available. You’ll learn how to choose the right knit fabric for your project and how to fit knit patterns for the perfect fit.
Afternoon Session: Sewing Knit Fabrics with Confidence
This session will teach you how to sew knit fabrics on your standard sewing machine, including the best stitches, needles, and threads to use. We’ll also cover tips for sewing band collars and demonstrate how to use a serger and coverstitch machine.
