CEC Webinar Series: Solarize Santa Barbara – Home Solar, Electric Vehicles, and Battery Systems: Affordable Options for Your Lifestyle
If you’ve considered switching to an electric vehicle (EV) – and would like to add a solar system to charge at home with solar energy – now may be the perfect time to take the leap and learn how to Drive on Sunshine!
Please join us to learn how driving electric pairs perfectly with going solar. We’ll cover some of the 40 plug-in hybrid and pure EV options, discuss charging, and share how driving electric is more affordable than ever. Learn how to stack various incentives to purchase used EVs starting at $5,000, new EVs for around $20,000, or leased EVs for $200/month. We’ll also discuss the basics of solar, and how CEC’s Solarize Santa Barbara makes it easier and more affordable to go solar, add home battery systems, or both.
Experts from CEC will present, along with a personal story from a local community member who has been driving on sunshine with EVs and solar since 2012.
The 2020 Solarize Santa Barbara program is open July 28 – October 31 to residents in Southern Santa Barbara County. Solarize has helped over 800 Central Coast homeowners go solar, working toward a future where 100% of the electricity that powers our homes, businesses, and cars is generated from clean, renewable, and local sources.
