Gustafson Dance Presents: Thumbelina

Gustafson Dance is back in theaters with their first in-theater production since the COVID pandemic. “Thumbelina” is an adaptation of the classic fairy tale of a little girl with big dreams and a heart of gold. State Street Ballet Young Dancer and Dos Pueblos Sophomore, Rebecca Lennon, will be starring as Thumbelina alongside a cast of other quirky characters played by students aged 3 to 18. Thumbelina will air twice on Saturday, May 29th, at the Marjorie Luke and is one of several performances planned for 2021. Links for the show will be available for purchase. Gustafson Dance has several summer camps and classes for dancers ages 2-18 throughout the summer as well as classes for adults. Registration for these summer camps and classes are currently open, with registration for their fall program open as well. Each camp ends with a show, and the fall program ends with their production of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at the Lobero and The Nutcracker at the Granada.
