Join Chelsea Brewer of Brewer & Marr Glassworks for an evening of stained glass creation! Make Peace Sign Sun Catchers at Art From Scrap! Choose from a variety of colorful glass to create your own color combo. Chelsea will guide you through the basics of the copper foil stained glass method to produce your very own beautiful suncatcher!
The workshop will provide:
- Peace sign template
- Colorful glass
- Copper foil & burnishing tools
- All supplies required for assembly
- Choice of finish: Silver, Copper, or Black Patina
- Ticket includes your first glass of wine!
PLEASE NOTE:
Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Making stained glass suncatchers is a several step process, a lot of fun, and can be dangerous at times. We will be handling sharp objects, HOT irons to liquify solder containing different alloy metals, as well as various chemicals. Splatter happens! For your protection- aprons, oven mitts, latex gloves, respirators, goggles, & first aid kit will be provided. Due to the nature of the craft, expecting mothers are advised to participate at their own risk.
MUST BE 18+ YEARS OLD TO PARTICIPATE:
This workshop is best suited for humans 18 and up. A standard Release of Liability waiver will be provided and must be signed by the participant at the beginning of the class.
