Join local homesteader and herbalist, Mary Andrews where she will be answering your most pressing homesteading and gardening questions! This workshop will focus only on gardening and homesteading in Temperate Climates.
Mary has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, has studied Permaculture and Herbalism, and has worked in both retail and wholesale nurseries. Mary teaches the Holistic Gardener course at Artemisia Academy. She has been growing food, flowers, and herbs in her current 2-acre garden since 2004. Her garden has over 100 fruit and nut trees, an asparagus patch, raspberry field, annual vegetables, perennial vegetables, butterfly garden, medicinal herbs, heirloom roses, free-range chickens, and many many bee-friendly flowers.
This is a FREE ONLINE EVENT put on by the California Chapter of Herbal Medics, an organization that provides free holistic education and community wellness services, especially in times of disaster. Donations to the CA Herbal Medics go towards buying herbs & supplies to make formulas for the public that they provide through the Digital Community Clinic.
CA Herbal Medics are partnered together with the Artemisia Academy of Herbal Arts & Healing. Artemisia Academy offers community and land-based herbal education and training for herbal enthusiasts in Santa Barbara and the Southern California region.
