About this event:
Join local herbalist, Kris Hedene in a demonstration on how to make a simple salve. Using easily accessible ingredients like olive oil & bee’s wax you’ll learn how to quickly & easily make a salve to help heal the dry skin we can experience from the cold weather. We’ll discuss vegan options as well.
Kris Hedene is a graduate of Artemisia Academy’s Herbal Apprenticeship program. She started studying herbalism when she was in my 40s. Quite a few years went by & then she signed up for one of Emily Sanders’ herb walks & I knew it was time to get back to the plants & the things they could teach her. She was 60 by then, which goes to show you it’s never too late to learn something new! She hopes to see you on the trails!
This is a FREE ONLINE EVENT put on by the California Chapter of Herbal Medics, an organization that provides free holistic education and community wellness services, especially in times of disaster.
