Santa Barbara Master Gardeners Marian Rusting and Bill Morey will present a free research-based Zoom Garden Talk “Growing Tropical Fruit” Monday, April 3, 2023, 7-8 pm. Marian and Bill will discuss the opportunities, challenges, and cultural requirements for growing tropical fruit in Southern California environments. Their Talk will include plant characteristics, soil, water and nutrient needs, and varieties best suited to the region. Some of the fruits covered; Bananas, Dragon Fruit, Pineapple Guava, and more.
