FREE, our quarterly free Contra Dance, to give EVERYONE a chance to dance to a live band.

You don’t need a partner. New dancers are having fun every week!

We match all newcomers with experienced dancers for the first few dances. It helps make if fun and easy for everyone!

Anyone who has danced before to these musicians knows how spectacular each one of them is.
Frank Hoppe began his radio career at Reed College in the early 1970s, although he admits his tastes have evolved since then.  He joined Los Angeles-area station KCSN in 1984, doing a weekly folk show. Frank lives in the Los Angeles area and enjoys playing fiddle for dances, kitchen junkets, farmer’s markets, and wineries.
Laura Osborne is a flute professor at UCLA. Laura holds degrees in Flute Performance from Eastman School of Music

Jeff Spero does the calling honors. Jeff is multi-talented and has been part of calling workshops and plays keyboard with many bands.
